EG Threads Terms & Conditions

EG Threads price lists & handbook – By acknowledging these terms you are accepting all pricing, policies, and procedures within our handbook and published price lists. It is at your discretion to familiarize yourself with the EG handbook and price list.

Spoilage – Industry standard is a 3% spoilage rate – meaning that 3 out of 100 of all garments ordered will incur some form of damage during the production process. This is simply an acceptable margin of error that exists in our industry and supply chain.

Production Time – Upon art proof approval, our standard production time is 10 business days. Blanks must be in-house within 3 business days prior to production date. Production time and order volume should be taken into consideration, which could affect standard lead times.

Rush orders – Rush orders require pre approval, upon approval PO must be identified clearly by including the term “RUSH” and clear ship date. Art must be submitted in vector format to size, or required DST file if applicable. Rush begins one business day after receipt of PO. Blanks must be received in full 24 hours prior to production date.

Dispute on Quality – Claims must be made within 72 hours of receipt of merchandise.

Cancellations – Order cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Cancellations will not be accepted for orders that have passed the art approval process. Upon approval we will assess a $100.00 cancellation fee.

Order Revisions – All order revisions will be charged a $25.00 revision fee. This includes unapproving proofs that have been approved, adding or removing garments, changing the ship to address, and any other modifications to the original order.

Unique Locations – Printing over seams, zippers, collars, or other unique locations can lead to ink build-ups, misregistration, coverage inconsistencies, and printable size issues. Unique locations are subject to garment style & sizes for each individual order. We may be restricted in some cases; art may need to be sized based on the smallest garment or specific style if you are using more than one style in your order.

Printing Tolerance – EG Threads has a 1/2” – 1” inch movement tolerance in any direction per imprint.

Neck Label Printing – Neck Label Printing on the inside of the garment will typically show through to the other side. This is especially noticeable when there is high contrast between the shirt color and the ink color. To minimize these issues, we use a medium gray ink color in most cases when printing this location.

Garment Reaction to Heat – Garments may shrink slightly when exposed to heat during the ink curing process. In addition, some brands of garment tags will curl and shrink when exposed to heat. This is a risk inherent in the nature of the materials when exposed to heat that EG Threads cannot control or be responsible for. EG also cannot be held responsible for any resulting imprint shrinkage due to curing.

Dye Migration Warning – Polyester, nylon, pigment dyed, and dye sublimated: Dye migration occurs when the dye in the fabric of the garment sublimates and turns into a colored gas. The gas attempts to escape the garment but can get stuck in the ink that is applied to the garment. It will slowly permeate through which will discolor the ink slightly or completely depending on the garment itself as well as the print process. Darker-colored garments are more likely to migrate (red, blue, black, etc.) Dye migration can appear hours or weeks after the ink is cured. EG Threads uses Poly low bleed inks and, in some cases, under base blockers to lower the chance of dye migration. However, we cannot control dye migration and the customer must accept the risk of dye migration when printing on these types of materials.

Unclaimed Garments – Any merchandise unclaimed over 60 days will be donated to charity without notice.

Shipping Charges – For all third-party shipments, please ensure that shipping instructions and a shipping account are included with each order, including reorders. If the purchase order does not include third-party billing instructions, the shipment will be processed using the EG Threads account at standard rates, along with an additional fee of $10.00. Customers choosing to ship with our account may do so, but please note that shipping estimates will only be available at the time of shipment. This policy is due to potential variations in weight and dimensions of items received from distributors versus their repacked form after decoration. We do not offer shipping quotes for orders that are shipped using a third-party account. We recommend that customers reach out directly to their shipping administrator for accurate shipping quotes, as we cannot estimate shipping costs for accounts not managed by us.

Payments – You shall purchase Goods in accordance with the EG Threads price list in effect at the time of the order (less other discounts, if any). You shall pay or reimburse EG Threads for all such charges. Late payment of any amount will be grounds for EG Threads to discontinue performance under these terms and conditions of sale. Any amounts not paid by the due date will be subject to a finance charge at a maximum rate permitted by law. However, payment of such finance charges will not excuse or cure a breach or default for late payment. In the event of a dispute between EG Threads and any client regarding any product, service, and/or EG Threads Terms & Conditions, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its attorney’s fees and costs reasonably incurred therein, including but not limited to legal fees and costs incurred in the enforcement and execution of any judgment obtained in connection with any such dispute. Returned checks or ACH payments will be subject to a $75.00 NSF fee. EG Threads does not accept third-party credit cards.
