EG Threads Terms & Conditions

Price Lists & Handbook

By acknowledging these terms, you accept all pricing, policies, and procedures outlined in our handbook and published price lists. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the EG Threads handbook and pricing information.

Production Time

Our standard production time begins upon art proof approval and is published on our website: EG Threads Lead Times. Blanks must be received within 72 hours of the scheduled production date. Production times may vary based on demand.

Rush Orders

Rush orders require pre-approval. PO must include “RUSH” and the ship date. Art must be submitted in vector (or DST if needed). Blanks must arrive at least 24 hours before production. Full details: Rush Order Policy

Quality Disputes

Claims must be submitted within 72 hours of receiving merchandise. Use the following form to submit your dispute.

Order Cancellations

All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Orders that have already been produced cannot be canceled. For non-produced cancellations, any costs incurred before production—including art charges, sew-outs, pre-production samples, and other associated fees—will be invoiced accordingly.

Order Revisions

All revisions require a revised purchase order (PO) and may be subject to additional fees or production rescheduling depending on the timing of the request. For full details, please review our complete Revision Policy here.

Unique Print Locations

Printing over seams, zippers, collars, or other unique locations may result in ink buildup, misregistration, coverage inconsistencies, and size limitations. Unique print locations are subject to garment styles and sizes per order. Artwork may need to be resized to accommodate the smallest garment in mixed-style orders.

Printing Tolerance

EG Threads maintains a print movement tolerance of 1/2″ to 1″ in any direction per imprint.

Neck Label Printing

Printing neck labels inside garments may be visible on the outside, especially when high-contrast ink colors are used. To mitigate this, we typically use medium gray ink.

Garment Reaction to Heat

Heat exposure during the curing process may cause slight garment shrinkage. Certain garment tags may curl or shrink. EG Threads is not responsible for heat-related garment reactions or imprint shrinkage due to curing.

Dye Migration Warning

Polyester, nylon, pigment-dyed, and dye-sublimated garments are susceptible to dye migration, where dye transforms into a gas and discolors ink. Darker garments (red, blue, black, etc.) are more prone to migration, which can occur immediately or weeks after curing. While we use poly low-bleed inks and underbase blockers to minimize migration, the customer assumes all risks associated with this issue.

Unclaimed Garments

Merchandise unclaimed for over 60 days will be donated to charity without notice.

Shipping Charges

For third-party shipments, ensure that shipping instructions, account numbers, and billing zip codes are included in each order, including reorders. If these details are missing, shipments will be processed using the EG Threads account at published rates, plus a $10.00 fee. Customers using our shipping account will receive estimates at the time of shipment due to potential variations in package weight and dimensions. We do not provide shipping quotes for third-party shipments. Customers should consult their shipping administrators for estimates. Third-party shipments are subject to chargebacks; if you or your customer (end user) refuses payment, the responsible party will be charged the full amount plus a $25.00 per-carton fee.

Payments

Orders must be purchased at EG Threads’ current price list rates, minus any applicable discounts. You are responsible for all incurred charges. Late payments may lead to service suspension, and unpaid balances will accrue a finance charge of 1.5% per month or the maximum legal rate. Finance charges do not exempt late payments. Returned checks are subject to a $70.00 fee. All freight is F.O.B. point of origin, and customers are responsible for all shipping and handling fees, including chargebacks due to consignee nonpayment or incorrect shipping account details. Additional shipping charges of $25.00 per carton may apply. EG Threads accepts American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. Third-party credit cards are not accepted.

Spoilage

The industry standard spoilage rate is 3%, meaning that 3 out of every 100 garments may be damaged during production. This is an accepted margin of error in the industry and supply chain.
